A Giveaway To Heat Things Up!
There's still a chill in the air as Spring settles in. A little chill never stopped me from going out and getting some fresh air and enjoying the outdoors, but I'll admit there's nothing worse than sitting on an ice cold seat. About a week ago, that meant I wouldn't be sitting down at my favorite garden spot! Even though I live in the deep south, my concrete benches are usually the very last things to warm up. I am a big fan of heated products, and I am always searching for something new to keep me warm! Recently, I found something new. I was sent a TempaChair Pad (in my favorite color blue-thank you!) for review. This lightweight pad arrived and within minutes, I had it charging. I couldn't wait to try it out! After the charging was complete, I turned it on (high!) and waited while the pad slowly heated to a very comfortable temperature.
Features:
•Portable, micro fiber heating system that warms the cushion to a comfortable and cozy 60C/140F temperature.
•Battery lasts up to 2 1/2 hours on the high setting and 50C/120F for up to 4 hours on low - plenty of time to enjoy the game!
•Weighing in at under 2 pounds, the Tempachair™ Pad is great to bring along to any outdoor activity, and comes with a handy carry bag for easy transport.
•Available in Burgundy, Blue, Green, and Black
•Rolls up for handy storage - it even fits easily into a coat pocket!
The cushion is padded, but it's not too thick. It's easy to carry to football games, camping, boating, and any other outdoor activity. If you don't have heated seats in your vehicle, now you can! I also think it would be great for parents to take along on those upcoming Easter Egg Hunts! It beats sitting on a cold bench or a blanket covering the cold ground! As a nurse, I must add that this product could also provide some beneficial heat relief for various symptoms or even pain relief after certain procedures. You can even use it on other areas in need of heat in a pinch! Who said you have to sit on it? When you're on the go, this is the perfect product to take with you! I've used my TempaChair Pad several times and I love it more and more each time I use it! One of my readers will win their very own TempaChair Pad! US residents only. To enter, visit TempaChair and tell me something you learned from their site. For two bonus entries, like TempaChair on Facebook! Follow me on Google/Networked Blogs/Facebook/Twitter and/or subscribe via email for one entry each. Links on sidebar! Giveaway ends midnight April 10, 2011. Good luck!
Disclosure: I was sent a TempaChair Pad and offered a giveaway in exchange for this mention. No monetary compensation received and honest opinions given.

Party With Nutella!
Several years ago, I bought this Ebelskiver Filled-Pancake Pan from Williams-Sonoma. I thought it was really neat and I couldn't wait to use it. When I received it, I put it in the cabinet and forgot all about it. Fast forward a few years... I was contacted to host a Mommy Party featuring Nutella. Oooohhh. Can you tell where this is going?
My long forgotten pan was immediately rescued from the dark depths of my cabinets. I whipped up a pancake batter and filled each little depression until it was over half full. I dropped about half of a teaspoon (maybe more!) of Nutella into each and then covered it with more batter. If you try this, be sure to allow the batter to firm up slightly (from cooking) before adding Nutella. If not, it will sink to the bottom!
I flipped each one when the bottom began to brown. Afterwards I removed them from the pan and dusted (a little heavily) with powdered sugar! Now, my guests would dine on pancakes and enjoy the delightful surprise inside! And guess what? No one needed a dose of syrup to drown their pancakes! Nutella made these filled pancakes a new favorite and I can't wait to make more! Want some advice? Make extras because they will be gone before you know it!
Nutella has been a favorite of Europeans for decades, and when used in moderation with complementary foods, Nutella® is a quick and easy tool to encourage kids to eat whole grains, such as whole wheat toast, English muffins, toaster waffles and bagels. Nutella® hazelnut spread is a terrific option for individuals with peanut allergies. The spread does not contain peanuts or peanut ingredients, nor does the product come in contact with peanuts during manufacturing. Nutella® is comparable to other popular breakfast spreads and is the perfect alternative for all those finicky eaters in your household.
Nutella is thicker than peanut butter, so it made the perfect filling. You can use Nutella in so many ways, it's even terrific right out of the jar! I'm thinking about using it as a filling for the birthday cake I will make for Logan and Sam's Birthday Bash next month! What can I say, I'm addicted!
Disclosure: I was chosen by MomSelect to participate in MommyParties! I was provided a jar of Nutella and gift bags.

We're Celebrating National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day With A Giveaway!
March 24th is National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day!
Last year, Raisinets helped us celebrate Logan and Sam's birthday. They filled our favor bags and made everyone smile! This year, we were asked to help Raisinets celebrate National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day! What an honor! They also want to fill 5 reader's mailboxes with the classic chocolate candy!
Did you know:
• All Nestlé Raisinets are produced in Burlington, Wisconsin. They are made with select California raisins and a unique blend of Nestlé Chocolate.
• Raisinets were first introduced in 1927 by the Blumenthal Chocolate Company. Back then, it took two-and-a-half hours to produce one batch of Raisinets! Now it takes between 45 and 60 minutes.
• Today, they produce more than 1 million Raisinets per hour! Slightly less than 30 million individual Raisinets each day!
• In 2010 they produced nearly 20 million pounds of Milk and Dark Chocolate Raisinets, which is equal to approximately 8 billion individual Raisinets. If you lined them up end-to-end, they’d stretch all the way around the earth about three-and-a-half times!
• Last year they used almost seven million pounds of raisins and more than 10 million pounds of Nestlé Chocolate to produce both Milk and Dark Chocolate Raisinets.
• Raisinets are the first chocolate covered raisin candy to have a cartoon series featured on its own YouTube channel! – www.youtube.com/raisinets
In honor of National Chocolate Covered Raisin Day, Raisinets is offering 5 US readers the chance to score 2 concession boxes of Milk Chocolate Raisinets and 2 concession boxes of Dark Chocolate Raisinets! That's 4 boxes! 5 readers will be chosen randomly to receive this prize. To enter, let's be silly. Tell me just how much Raisinets mean to you and how far you would go to get them. Creative entries will not earn you a better chance, but they are definitely more fun! For two bonus entries, like them on Facebook! Don't be shy, say hi! For one entry each, follow me on Google/Networked Blogs/Facebook/Twitter. Be sure to leave comments for each entry! This giveaway ends 11:59 pm Thursday March 24. Winners will have 3 days to respond to my email before another winner is chosen. Good Luck!

Kranky Krab Giveaway!
I've never reviewed personalized art before so I was ecstatic to receive an email asking me to do just that. Logan and Sam share a room, so I knew I couldn't have a print for one and not the other, and thankfully Kranky Krab understood and offered two! Being my first time, I spent over an hour on the site, browsing and playing with different frame and print combinations. You can "build" your art right before your eyes, so you'll know exactly what you're getting. Cool! I finally settled on two and placed my order!
Tracy Hopkins is the genius behind the designs. To create this playful art, she draws everything by hand. Then the illustration is scanned and digitally colored and textured using Illustrator and Photoshop. Her prints are then created using a professional large format printer with archival inks on high quality fine art stock, with some pieces printed directly to canvas. Everything is 100% handmade, including the frames, mats, and magnets. When the prints arrived, I was in awe. I knew I wanted them on the closet doors. That might seem odd to some, but I am trying to help Sam define his space, especially since he is always winding up in Logan's! We bought some Velcro tape to make sure the prints were extra secure. Sam has quite the arm and he can swing the door really hard when his temper flares. He's a work in progress, but aren't we all?
The prints are beautifully done. The frames were put together perfectly and all the corners were seamless. For $25 each, and free shipping, I think it's a great deal! The frame is painted, but it almost seems like a sleek fabric was used to wrap the frame. I think a textured paint was used and it makes it look like a more expensive work of art! The colors really pop and I think the "characters" are lovable and friendly. My kids love them and I do too! Kranky Krab is the perfect place to shop for personalized gifts. Plus, the shipping is free! Check them out! And check me out! I have a giveaway! Kranky Krab is offering a US resident a $25 gift certificate (and free shipping!) to use towards any purchase! To enter, visit Kranky Krab and tell me what print you would order! You can also find Kranky Krab on Etsy! Leave your answer in a comment! Like Kranky Krab on Facebook for two bonus entries!Follow me on Google/Networked Blogs/Facebook/Twitter for one entry each. Blog about this giveaway and/or add me to a giveaway linky or website for an additional 5 entries! Giveaway ends midnight, April 1, 2011. Good Luck!
Disclosure: I was provided with two prints and a giveaway in eachange for this post. Honest opinions given.

Purex Complete Crystals Giveaway!
I love being a Purex Insider. I get to try out so many products before they make it to the shelves. I've been using Purex Complete Crystals for quite a while and I really love them! They are easy to use, just pour directly into wash with the dirty clothes. The crystals have a nice, light scent that seems to be long lasting. After drying, my clothes are soft and my towels are nice and fluffy! Purex Complete Crystals may not be a messy liquid, but still use with caution. Accidental spills are bound to happen. That is the only thing I really hate. When I first tried the crystals, my youngest opened it up and poured some out before I could stop him. It wasn't as bad as cleaning up sugar, but it was pretty messy. Now, I keep mine out of the bottom drawer in the laundry room and we haven't had any more problems, except the occasional crystal or two missing it's mark!
I have three coupons to give away for three full size products. Normally, I'd give one coupon to three different readers, but not this time. I want one reader to have the opportunity to try all three scents! To enter, you must be a US resident. Leave a comment below and tell me what laundry detergent and fabric softener you currently use. For two bonus entries each, follow Purex on Facebook and Twitter! Follow me on Google/Networked Blogs/Twitter/Facebook for one entry each. Blog or tweet about this giveaway for three additional entries! Also, add me to a giveaway linky (only if I'm not listed) for 5 extra entries! You must tell me which linky or website you posted this giveaway to count! Be sure to comment for each entry. Giveaway ends midnight, April 1, 2011. Good luck!

Enjoy Life And Your Sweets!
Everyone should enjoy life to the fullest. And Enjoy Life helps you do just that! By not sweating over the small stuff, you can enjoy your sweets and know that you are taking a healthier approach to snacking! I recently tried Soft Baked Lively Lemon Cookies, which were not too sweet and full of tang! Biting into this soft moist cookie, I experienced the flavors of Spring. Cool and refreshing, I'd say Lively Lemon Cookies put some spring into my step and made me want to head outdoors and soak up some sunshine!
I also tried Soft Baked Double Chocolate Brownie Cookies. This heavier cookie tastes like a moist brownie bite. While lacking some of the depth and richness of my favorite brownies, this cookie makes it possible to indulge without leaving you feeling sick and giving you a chocolate hangover afterwards. It's nice to take a hefty dose of chocolate every now and then and not regret it later! If I could change one thing, I'd add more chips. But I'm a chocoholic, so go figure.
Snickerdoodle Cookies used to be my least favorite cookie, aside from the dreaded Oatmeal Raisin. I guess my tastes are changing. Maybe the cookies just keep getting better and better as new recipes are created or old ones are tweaked. Either way, these Snickerdoodle cookies are a true delight! The cinnamon sugar sparkles, both in the box and on my tastebuds. It's easy to get carried away and before long, you'll find yourself holding the last one. Scary, but hey, no one has to know. Enjoy Life cookies are gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, tree-nut free, soy free, egg free and casein-free snacks. Get yours online or find a store near you!
Disclosure: I was sent three boxes of cookies in order to complete this review. No monetary compensation received.

Put This On Your Wish...Want...Need List!
Fig & Kindle sent us the most refreshing Lemon Rosemary Cookies and not only were they gorgeous, perfectly formed cookies, but they were absolutely divine. Bits of homegrown rosemary, it's fragrance and flavor enhancing each bite, complimented the wonderful lemon flavor that can only be accomplished using real lemon. I tasted nothing artificial and each bite made me want to take another...and another! I will be not-so-patiently awaiting Fig & Kindle's return and keep you posted. This is one shop that must be checked out!

Fancy Flowers From Teleflora!
I'm seeing green this St. Patrick's Day, thanks to my new Fancy Flowers arrangement from Teleflora! Hadden's Flowers & Gifts delivered it earlier today and it has filled my house with the sweetest floral scent! It's filled with low maintenance flowers. All of the blooms in this very feminine arrangement appear so delicate, but I know from experience that these blooms will not wilt for quite some time!
My arrangement is filled with very fragrant pink asiatic lilies, lush pink hydrangea, green roses and bright pink carnations. The flowers are packed tightly and there is little "filler" in between. This is quite the bang for your buck! It even arrives in a green container that can be used to hold just about anything, long after the arrangement is gone. It's a gift in a gift!
My arrangement wasn't left on my front porch in a brown or white shipping box. It was arranged by my local florist and delivered with care. Ordinarily, I wouldn't order flowers for Saint Patrick's Day. This arrangement has me reconsidering. It's pretty special! I would buy this as a birthday or thinking of you gift, or even a get well soon arrangement. It's one of my favorite (and the most fragrant) arrangements to date!

Sam's Adventures With Beaba's Pixie Night Light!
Sam loves his new Pixie Night Light from Beaba! It's a soothing companion for infancy through toddlerhood. The Pixie Night Light is equipped with two settings of brightness and a charging base that keeps electrical components away from children. It's safety tested to ensure the lantern portion is safe to use from ages newborn and up, making it safe to put near baby's crib and a toddler's bed! The rechargeable LED night light grows with your child. It puts out enough light for middle of the night diaper changes and later, the Pixie Night Light adapts to become a lantern with an ergonomic handle, which is ideal for toilet training during the night!
Sam can't seem to part with his beloved lantern! He carries it on all of his adventures. He has crossed the country on his trusty horse, with his Pixie Night Light lighting the way. He crossed oceans and braved rough seas with only the light from his lantern leading him home.
When his adventures leave him spent, Sam can relax against his favorite pillow and still keep his Pixie Night Light close at hand. He has dropped it, banged it against his bed, and even tossed it from his ship and the night light still works perfectly! The handle was made for little hands and Sam carries it with ease, wherever he goes. I love the front of the light because it features two "eyes" that make this lantern so adorable!
This lantern puts out the right amount of light to scare away the monsters and Sam can even use his new light for those covert missions to play, instead of going to bed and actually sleeping! It's a lot of fun! I can't wait to see where he takes it next! Scandinavian Child's Deal Of The Week is the Pixie Night Light! Buy this weekend and save 15%!
