Holiday Gift Guide: NOVICA Giveaway!
Almost all of my shopping is done. The only one left to buy for is my husband! I have purchased products from NOVICA in the past, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in a review AND giveaway! I haven't received my order yet, but I had to go ahead and post so my winner would also have the chance to order and receive a gift before Christmas! Since I have purchased products in the past, I was confident enough my purchases to go ahead and post! I ordered a gorgeous set of 6 Blown glass shot glasses. My 'Silver Celebration' glasses are created by the Quirarte Family. They recycle glass with masterful hand-blown techniques, adding aluminum foil to the glasses' stem. The effect is mesmerizing. Each piece is individually handmade, thus size may vary slightly. Tiny bubbles bear witness to the authenticity of blown glass. An artisan story card is included with my purchase. I can't wait to see them. I know they'll be stunning! I couldn't resist buying something special for myself. I purchased a ceramic sugar bowl and creamer. My 'Dragonfly Fancy' set is going to come in handy during the holidays! Bali's exotic flora and fauna play in important role in these original designs by Putu Oka Mahendra. The sleek contemporary table accessories are shaped on the potter's wheel, the realistic insects sculpted by hand with intricate detail. I am looking forward to using them!

I feel really good when I am able to purchase a gift that helps another person. When I was contacted by World Vision, I looked at their site for the first time. I really liked what I saw. You can buy gifts of animals, water, and help. You can also purchase from World Vision's Gift Catalog and treat yourself (or others) and help a person or community in need. With each gift purchase, you fund their Maximum Impact Fund, which provides for the unique needs of children and families worldwide. I received an artisan multi-colored necklace. My gift was created to fight human trafficking. My beautiful semi-precious stone and glass bead necklace can be worn as a colorful strand long or short, as a bracelet or even a belt. It is approximately 48" long. Each is unique - size and color may vary slightly. It's really beautiful and it goes with so many things! It's a tax deductable purchase and it helps a wonderful cause.World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.Working in nearly 100 countries around the world, World Vision serves all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or gender. Holiday Gift Guide: Wind & Weather...And A Giveaway!
I have a few people on my Christmas list that are really hard to buy for. I can spend months trying to find something cool enough that they will enjoy for years to come. When I came across the Firewinder from Wind & Weather, I knew I had found something special! When I received the package I opened it up immediately. I was happy to find only 4 parts and an instruction sheet. Those four parts consisted of two optional mounting brackets, a pin, and the main body of the Firewinder. I grabbed the base and gave it a spin. Within seconds, I had my first LED light show! No electricity is needed because it's completely wind powered. The stronger the wind, the faster it spins and the more brightly it shines, which I thought was pretty cool. I could have a different light show each night! The entire unit is weather friendly, so I can put it just about anywhere! It is well made and I think it will last years. I couldn't get a great video showing how beautiful the Firewinder light display is, but there is one at Wind & Weather that is really nice and truly represents the beauty of this gift. Just click the link under the picture!
One US reader will win a $50 Gift Certificate to Wind & Weather! To enter, tell me what you would order from Wind & Weather with your gift certificate! Leave your answer in a comment below! Holiday Giveaway: Spa-la-la-la-la!
I can't think of a better gift than a gift certificate to a spa. Personally, I'd love to have one. Years ago, I booked weekly facials and massages every month or so. I had Botox injections, which were amazing and the results lasted almost six months! I really took care of myself and it showed. Of course that was before marriage and kids. Now, I would settle for a yearly facial and massage! It's hard to get away, but with a gift card, I would make sure to take the time to treat myself! Purchasing a gift card is easier than ever because Spa & Wellness Gift Cards by Spa Week are accepted at over 4,500 spas and wellness facilities nationwide and they are redeemable 365 days a year and never expire! They are welcomed for ANY spa treatment your recipient desires. They are available as a beautiful card + box set OR as an instant, printable e-Card. Right now, they are ON SALE! Get a $100 Spa & Wellness Gift Card for just $89.99 plus a FREE gift box through December 31st. Purchase yours here! It's a fantastic corporate gift idea. You can treat your employees and keep them motivated this holiday with the gift of spa. No matter what treatment they choose, this gift will outlast any other present they receive. Don’t believe it? It’s true... here are just 3 examples:
Don’t call it a massage, call it a MIRACLE: America’s #1 most popular spa treatment is not only a luxury to soothe your Saturday, it’s something that impacts your personal wellbeing on a large, long-lasting scale. Indulge for a healthier heart, a clearer mind, and even to replace expensive talk therapy – massage therapy has been proven to decrease signs of depression and anxiety.
A facial is a beautiful thing, and can be an educational one too. Did you know that estheticians love giving advice on how to keep your skin healthy year-round? For example, steeped green tea bags can help lessen dark circles around your eyes – YUP, learned that one during an Organic Deep Pore Cleansing Facial with LED Light Therapy. Get schooled at the spa and get more beautiful skin for life!
Botox, Endermologie, Velashape, non-surgical facelifts… these are all gifts that you may not want to come out and say “Here you go, honey!” but can make a life-changing difference in someone’s confidence. And with the Spa & Wellness Gift Card, they can choose these treatments on their own, so nobody will have to know. When they start looking firmer come February, just smile and wink. Spa Gift Certificates are great stocking stuffers and they make wonderful host/hostess gifts.
One US reader will win a $50 gift card! To enter, visit Spa Week and enter your zip code to find a spa near you. Leave a comment telling me which spa you would visit! Bonus entries: Blog or tweet about this giveaway for three bonus entries! Spread the word! Follow me on Google/Networked Blogs/Facebook/Twitter for one entry each follow. Links are on my sidebar. You can also follow my blog, Away We Go, with Google/GFC for one extra entry! Giveaway ends midnight December 12, 2011! Good luck!

Holiday Gift Guide: Towel Spa
I've always wanted a towel warmer. I love being warm and I am ashamed to admit, I use an electric blanket most evenings during summer. Maybe that's not bad in some parts of the world, but I live in south Georgia. Recently I received a Towel Spa. I plugged it in and used it immediately! I can honestly say, it's one of the best items I've ever received! Now, when I take my bath (or shower) each evening, I stay warm! I don't miss getting chilled as soon as I step out of the water. I open my towel spa and wrap myself with warm and cozy cotton! It's so nice, especially now that it's getting cooler. I can put my towel or robe inside, sometimes both if my robe is lightweight, and there is even room for my socks! I have used it almost daily and it only takes eight minutes or so to warm things up! It takes less energy than running my dryer (which I've used in the past to warm up my robe) and I don't have to run through my house when I'm ready to put it on. This unit is small enough to tuck into almost any corner. It will also fit on small counters. It's lightweight, so I can move it from room to room. It also turns off automatically!
The Jumbo Towel Spa:
•Big enough to warm a blanket - perfect for those cold winter nights
•You can even warm hats, scarves and mittens to take the chill out of fall and winter
•Cozy hot towels in minutes
•Compact and fits conveniently on counter
•Simple to use, automatically turns off
•Small enough you can take to multiple bathrooms
I love my unit and my family has really enjoyed using it! If I had a little one at home, I would definitely get the Nursery Spa Clothes, Blankets, and Towel Warmer too!
Disclosure: I was sent a Towel Spa in order to complete my review. No monetary compensation received and honest opinions given.

Holiday Gift Guide: Christmas With E.L.F.
Every year, I look forward to the holiday limited edition palettes that are full of sparkles and festive colors. This year, I was given a stunning sparkler from E.L.F. and I eagerly opened it to find just about everything I needed to put my best face forward! The Holiday 47-Piece Beauty Clutch is mirrored and it includes:
32 Eyeshadows
6 Lip Colors
2 Blushes
1 Bronzer
1 Eyebrow Powder
1 Eyebrow Cream
1 Face Shimmer
3 Dual Ended Eyeshadow Applicators
The gift box is a glittery silver and the clutch is black. The eyeshadows are on top and the pull out tray contains everything else! The eyeshadows all have a hint of sparkle and the shades are glorious! I love that most of the shades are everyday colors. There are a few that would be ideal for evenings and holiday parties! The lip colors are mostly rich berry colors and there's even a bright holiday red for kissing Santa! The blushes are fairly muted (unless you have an extremely fair complexion) and the bronzer does an excellent job warming things up! The face shimmer was a nice bonus and while I haven't used the eyebrow powder or cream, I am looking forward to trying them at a later date! This clutch is small enough to fit inside a small handbag and my only complaint is that there isn't an included applicator for lip colors or blush! But these little beauties are on sale for $10 and that more than makes up for it! Visit E.L.F. and become an honorary elf as you fill those stockings with a little sparkle and holiday cheer!

Holiday Gift Guide: It's Exceptional!
I enjoy my evenings. There's nothing like a long, hot bath and a great book. When the water turns cold, the pampering can continue! Have you heard of Exceptional-Because You Are? It's new to me. It's a distinctly feminine fragrance featuring a crisp and elegant introduction, a lightly spiced floral heart and a sensual dry down. After I receiving the body cream to review, I slathered it on and decided my favorite part of the evening was being enveloped by the rich fragrance and treated to silky skin. I loved it so much, I skipped the bath and took a quick shower the next evening because I couldn't wait to pamper myself again! FragranceNet.com offers deeply discounted prices and you can find just about any fragrance! I was in shock when I searched their site for my usual, Burberry London, and discovered the savings! With the coupon code offered on their site, I can save even more! Visit FragranceNet.com and save on your favorites! This would make an awesome gift for that aspecial someone!

Holiday Gift Guide: Bass Pro Shops
I always look forward to Thanksgiving turkey. I remember watching my dad drop our turkey into the outdoor turkey fryer and we couldn't wait until it was done. It didn't take long and it gave my dad the opportunity to participate in cooking our holiday feast, although he probably thought it was just the manly thing to do, like standing over the grill in the summer. It's really not considered cooking to a guy like my dad! Lately, I've missed those turkeys but I'd rather roast mine than have a top heavy pot of hot oil for somebody to knock over. They scare the you know what out of me. I know I could safely keep my kids inside, but where I live, a dog or some other animal is bound to come along and turn it over. If one doesn't, then I will for sure. I'm clumsy and a little paranoid when it comes to hot oil! I won't even allow my kids to come into the kitchen if I am boiling water or frying! With my very stable Butterball Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer, I don't have to worry about running out of propane in the middle of cooking my turkey or accidentally knocking it over, unless I'm really careless. It's durable stainless steel construction and it uses 1/3 less oil than standard fryers. It has an adjustable thermostat and a digital timer! This turkey fryer features an intelligent design that saves space. This fryer features a hinged lid with a built-in window and filter, making this fryer even easier and more convenient to use. A porcelain coated inner pot with a built-in drain valve makes cleaning easy, while the included cooking basket allows you to cook all your favorite foods in this capable, easy to use indoor fryer. Handles turkeys up to 14 lbs. Best of all, it's on sale at Bass Pro Shops! It's available at Bass Pro Shops Stores, Catalog, and Online! It makes and awesome gift for the holidays!
Disclosure: I was sent a fryer in order to complete this post. No monetary compensation received. Bass Pro Shops has been a family favorite for years, and I am proud to feature them on The Gerber Babies!

It wouldn't be the same without Butterball! I've made a Butterball Turkey every Thanksgiving and Christmas for the last three years. I haven't roasted, fried, or smoked a Butterball Turkey that didn't live up to or exceed my expectations! When turkey is my holiday centerpiece, I can't afford anything less than perfection! It doesn't matter which method of cooking I use, it is always moist and flavorful! Each Thanksgiving, I try to make everything perfect for everyone. I always set up a table for the kids and allow them to decorate their own Thanksgiving themed cookies or cupcakes! It gives the adults time to enjoy each other and the kids are never bored! The mess is worth it!

Holiday Gift Guide: b-glowing
Last year, I feel in love with Voluspa candles. They are unique and a pleasure to burn. This year, b-glowing sent me an extravagant gift box of Voluspa's best! The Maison Noir Gift Set contains eight Petite Maison Jar Candles, each with a fifteen hour burn time.Voluspa candles are superior quality, with cool burning wax that will leaving a lasting scent of your favorite fragrance for days. The seductive fragrances are dark and rich, so my husband really loved them! I didn't miss my usual light floral candles after burning these! Crisp Champagne was one of my favorites. Amber Lumiere was my least favorite. I still loved it, but only in moderation. I burned it for a few hours instead of all day. To me, it went well with the scent of my wood burning fireplace. The combination of smells was really wonderful! Lichen & Vetiver had a pleasant fruitiness that lingered and Tuberosa Di Notte was like smelling the most fragrant, and rich bouquet of roses and exotic flowers. It was a heavier fragrance that exudes romance! Vacarro Orange & Myrhh reminded me of fresh squeezed orange juice with a hint of spice! The other scents in the collection are just as luscious! This candle set is the perfect $50 gift for any adult on your list, even if the recipient happens to be a bit naughty! The fragrance doesn't overwhelm and it lingers for a few hours after the candle has burned out. Visit b-glowing for a wonderful selection of bath and body products too!

Giveaway: Rubbermaid Bento Storage Containers!
A few weeks ago, I received Rubbermaid's newest product, Bento Storage Containers. I am not very organized, so these boxes really helped! These fabric boxes are nice enough to leave out, unlike my other storage containers. I also prefer them to baskets because they are easier to clean! Rubbermaid Bento Boxes and Toppers help you divide and conquer your clutter. Typical decorative storage boxes simply contain items, often resulting in cluttered interiors that make it hard to find the items stored inside, and are unsightly when left out. Rubbermaid Bento, on the other hand, is designed to organize items, rather than just store them. Bento helps you organize with:
Flex Dividers
Bento’s Flex Dividers allow users to customize the inside of the box, creating organization solutions that are perfect for a variety of needs. Flex Dividers pop open when needed, and simply pop back when not. Each Flex Divider can be opened or closed separately of the others to create a permanent home for belongings.
Toppers
Bento Toppers™ can be used in two distinctive ways. One way is that it can be a tray to display and contain items. By using Bento Toppers this way, you can create boundaries for items that can often take over a counter space such as magazines or mail. Use the Bento Topper on its own, or resting as a tray on top of a Bento Box to contain items like remotes while covering the contents in the box below. The second way to use Bento Toppers is as a lid for the Bento Box by simply flipping over the Topper. This way you can hide things (such as personal bathroom items) that you do not want everyone to see but are needed for easy access.
Design
Bento Boxes and Toppers come in variety of fabric designs and colors to compliment any home décor. The boxes were designed to hold common household items such as DVD & Video Games, File Folders, Mail, Toys, Hair Care Accessories, Audio & Video Accessories, Magazines, Board Games, Crafting Supplies and Office Supplies. Bento Boxes are stackable to make the most out of your space. Covered with polyester, the boxes are durable, yet easy to clean with a damp cloth.
These boxes are sturdy. Sam has played with (and on) them and they survived!
One US or Canada reader will win a set of Bento Box and Toppers valued at $113.93! To enter, visit Rubbermaid.com and tell me which color you like the most! Leave your answer in a comment below! Bonus entries: Become a fan of Rubbermaid.com on Facebook and follow them on Twitter for two extra entries each. Blog or tweet about this giveaway for three bonus entries! Follow me on Google/Networked Blogs/Facebook/Twitter for one entry each follow. Links are on my sidebar. You can also follow my new blog, Away We Go, with Google/GFC for one extra entry! Giveaway ends midnight November 20, 2011! Good luck!

Bright Settings
With the holidays rapidly approaching, I'm already planning a large Christmas dinner with family and a few small dinner parties for friends. I love to entertain and I love to break out the china and silver and dazzle my guests. I have a lot of linens for my table and recently I found the greatest place to buy even more! Bright Settings has over 1200 fabric/color combinations available and you can buy or rent! I received an aubergine tablecloth for a baby shower a few months ago. I have used it several times and I have been impressed with the quality of the fabric. It was easy to clean and hard to wrinkle! I hate wrinkled linens! I just washed and tumble dried on low and when I took it out, I folded it until I was ready to use it again. I made a mess on it during the baby shower. I had a cheese fountain and a chocolate fountain. Drips were everywhere. After washing (without pretreating) all stains were gone! Even though it's not linen (or a richer fabric) with a fancy edge, this tablecloth is beautiful and it has a nice finish. I was thrilled with the price and the size options were great! I am looking forward to ordering another cloth in black, white, and perhaps a few other colors to compliment holidays and seasons! Visit Bright Settings and see how affordable it is to dress your table for the holidays!

Holiday Gift Guide: Rockin' Rockboard Scooter Giveaway!
Logan has a scooter but he doesn't ride it often. He prefers his bike, and recently rode the pedal off! After finding out about the Rockboard Scooter, that bike was forgotten. This scooter is really cool! I liked that the scooter can be used two ways. Sam can use the scooter as a regular scooter, cruising around at low speeds and Logan can really rock it and zoom around at higher speeds! This really is two scooters in one. The advanced Rockboard technology allows him to shred the pavement in rockboarding mode or quickly transform it into a low-profile kick scooter. The rear spring-enhanced suspension means the smoothest ride even on the most unforgiving pavement. With superior strength and lightning quick dual-mode action adjustment, your new scooter means hours of insane fun. It features reinforced handlebar assembly for safety and an oversized nylon coupler that allows handlebars to be folded for compact storage. The telescope downpipe with height adjustment lock on the scooter lets you adjust the handles to your exact height, and the comfort grip and aluminum alloy brake handle allow for hours of Rockboarding with perfect control on the pavement. The two-position locking joint for dual-mode scooter capability and easy folding lets you take it anywhere, and racing-inspired bearings keep your scooter rolling. It even has a kick stand, so no more dumping it on it's side!

I love pretty cookies, but over the years I have discovered pretty doesn't always taste good. Send your worries packing if you order from All Things Exquisite! You don't have to worry about flavor when you order from this Etsy store! These cookies are the yummiest and most adorable cookies ever! The creativity put into each design is amazing, and you can be sure your cookies will be the star of the party!
Look at all this talent! This Etsy designer can draw inspiration from your invitations, and if you have something special in mind, she will work with you to help you wow your guests! All the designs are hand crafted, so no two are alike. Your one-of-a-kind artisan cookies will have a rich, buttery flavor with a hint of vanilla and almond. The texture was perfect. The cookies were firm, perfectly baked, and the icing wasn't overly sweet.
Each cookie was individually wrapped and shipped with care. No cookie was injured during transport and they all arrived fresh! We received our cookies for a very special shower. Our guests loved them!!! They were almost too pretty to eat, but once we started, we couldn't stop! I will definitely keep All Things Exquisite on my list of favorites.
